Lipofilling (or lipostructure) involves transferring fat from one area of the body to another to reshape the face or body.
This natural 100% technique is well suited to people who do not wish to use implants or absorbable products.
TREATMENT
The patient's own fatty tissue is used as a filler for facial wrinkles and furrows, or to reshape volumes: cheekbones; cheeks; mouth. Fat is harvested using a 2 mm diameter cannula after local anesthesia (or during liposuction).
The fat is immediately purified and reinjected into the face (or another part of the body) to achieve the desired volume correction.
Duration: The treatment lasts between 1 and 2 hours. Ideally, it should be repeated 2 or 3 times, at intervals of a few months, to obtain a fat cell graft in the treated area that can last for many years.
ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES
Advantages: A natural method with no allergic risks, since the patient's own fat is used. In particular, there is no risk of long-term complications, which can occur 5 to 10 years after a filler injection. Another advantage is that there is no limit to the quantity of product available in the case of major corrections or multiple sites. What's more, it lasts for several years, or even forever.
Disadvantage: The method is a little "heavier" than simple injections.
RESULTS & PRICING
Result: Visible immediately, but definitive after 3 to 6 months.
Prices: The maximum price for the face is 3,000 CHF and for the body 6500 CH.
